The current DTS values began in 1955 with Gordon Dukes and Dukes Tank Repair. Gordon, already well known throughout the local northwest Ohio petroleum community for his quality work and innovative fabrication skills, expanded the repair oriented business to include the design and manufacture of various types of specialty equipment.

It was from these small town beginnings that grew Dukes Transportation Services, incorporated by Gordon’s son Christopher Dukes in 1979, during this period the company’s focus became specific to the design, manufacture, and support of aircraft refueling equipment. It was also at this time, while delivering equipment to many export destinations that the brand became known worldwide simply as the acronym “DTS”; the same group that you know and depend on today for personalized support and professional service.
